Koyasan in the Fall

Japan in the Fall is a sea of color that the Japanese relish. Like the Spring Cherry Blossoms, Japanese locals and tourists alike flock to see the changing of the colors in the gardens. Koyasan is high in the mountains and the resting place for some of Japan's most famous royalty as the origin of the Shingon sect of Japanese Buddhism.
